Bennachie Lodge Hotel is located in Kemnay near Inverurie in Aberdeenshire just 16 miles from Aberdeen City Centre, 13.5 miles from Aberdeen Airport and just on the doorstep of Aberdeen's oil industry making our hotel the perfect location for both working and relaxing.

Bennachie Lodge Hotel was originally a Manse built to accompany Kemnay Church in the late 1700's before it was converted into a hotel in 1971. Since acquiring the hotel in February 2009, the new proprietors Norah and Peter have begun an extensive programme of redesign and refurbishment throughout the hotel to provide the highest levels of excellence and comfort while retaining the hotel's traditional character, charm and appearance.

Bennachie Lodge Hotel has eight beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms each offering complimentary wireless broadband connection, flatscreen digital television, mini fridge, hairdryer, Highland Aromatics toiletries and hospitality tray which includes Dean's shortbread fingers.

Guests can take advantage of complimentary parking and are welcome to spend time in the hotel's mature, sheltered garden and grounds.

If you feel like easing into your visit then you might want to enjoy a quiet drink in the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel's tastefully furnished bar. And if you like to start your day on a full stomach then we highly recommend you request our full Scottish breakfast which we serve in the hotel's breakfast room.

With the stunning backdrop of Bennachie and the Aberdeenshire countryside Bennachie Lodge Hotel offers an ideal platform for exploration of the region. Our part of Aberdeenshire boasts many attractions such as fishing on the River Don and at the Lochter fishing and activity centre in Oldmeldrum, the Deeside Activity Park at Aboyne, golf courses at Kemnay, Inverurie, Kintore, Westhill and Alford, scenic hillwalking and peaceful countryside walks, historic castles such as Castle Fraser, the Alford Transport Museum and of course the famous Scottish whisky trail.

One other local attraction not to be missed is Jaff's Bar and Restaurant in Dunecht. Renowned for it's friendly country welcome and delicious food this excellent restaurant is just a short journey away from the hotel.

- 13.6 miles (26 minutes drive) from Dyce station.

- 16.3 miles (30 minutes drive) from Aberdeen station.

By air - 13.5 miles (20 minutes drive) from Aberdeen Airport.

By bus - take the No. 220 from the Aberdeen Bus Station and get off at the Victoria Terrace stop in Kemnay.

By road - from Aberdeen take the A96, turn off at the B994 then turn left on to Victoria Terrace in Kemnay.
